From Medical Physics to Financial Models — Built for Healthcare Startups

I build investor-ready financial models for healthcare and SaaS startups — 3-statement integrations, DCF valuations, scenario planning, and cap tables. My background in Medical Physics and Computer Science means I understand both the clinical side of healthcare and the financial mechanics that investors actually care about.

About Salma

FMVA certified. CFA candidate. COO of a medical device startup raising $5M.

I'm a financial modeling specialist based in Alexandria, Egypt. My background is unusual — a Master's in Medical Physics, a dual Bachelor's in Physics and Computer Science, and 4.5 years building financial models for startups raising capital. That combination means I don't just build spreadsheets. I build models that investors trust and founders actually use to run their businesses. I'm FMVA certified, a CFA candidate, and currently serving as COO and Fractional CFO of a medical device startup managing a $5M seed raise. My clients have included healthcare platforms, SaaS companies, real estate tech firms, and early-stage startups across the US, UAE, and Saudi Arabia. The models I build don't sit on shelves. They become the tool founders open before every board meeting.

My Process

How I transform your healthcare data challenges into strategic advantages

Build with assumptions you can trust. Every driver is documented, benchmarked against industry data, and editable. You should be able to update your own model six months after delivery without calling me. Final delivery includes a summary dashboard, scenario toggles, and a walkthrough call.

Discovery first. I start by understanding what decision the model needs to support — a fundraise, a board meeting, an operational pivot. The model structure follows the decision, not the other way around.
